Doors open an hour before showtime at the Southern as lobby size limits the amount of people who can wait inside.

15 minute intermissions are standard
Merchandise
The Southern Theatre has space for two 6 foot tables for merchandise. Tables are available here but the theatre doesn't provide any merchandise racks. CAPA collects a 20% fee of merchandise sales. If you require a Merchandise seller please arrange that with the Operations Manager. The seller fee is $150 flat cash or 5% of gross sales, whichever is greater, payable to seller night of show.

Concessions
Lobby bar available to patrons includes mixed drinks, beer and wine, soda, and snacks.
Box Office
The Southern Theatre box office opens 2 hours prior to curtain.
Haze or Confetti
Use of smoke, haze, fog, or confetti MUST be confirmed in advance. Any haze, fire, sparks, etc. requires a dedicated fire watch which must be scheduled in advance
Announcements
CAPA does have a required safety pre-show announcement which must be played approximately 5 minutes before any performance
Pictures and Video
CAPA does not have a policy about pictures of video taken by audience members, shows can determine that on a show by show basis
Entrance or Exit music
CAPA is happy to play music as entrance music, exit music, or other incidental music but all playlists need to be provided by the show as the theatre does not have a music library.
